Frances T. Florentino
Dermatologist
Dr. Frances T. Florentino is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over fifteen years of experience working in three different academic facilities. She has worked most recently at MCG, and prior to that was on staff for the Case Western Reserve University Dermatology Residency Program in Cleveland, Ohio. Her dermatology training was done at Henry Ford Hospital Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan. She is a graduate of The University of Michigan Medical School and did her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.. She grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area. Dr. Florentino is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Florentino is a member of the American Board of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, and the Georgia Society of Dermatologists.
Dr. Florentino treats both pediatric and adult patients for all types of skin, nail, and hair disorders. She does skin cancer surgeries as well as removal of other types of skin lesions. She also offers cosmetic treatments including Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Restylane®, Perlane®, Radiesse®, Belotero® Balance, Sculptra® Aesthethic, a variety of laser treatments, and chemical peels.
Dr. Florentino is married to Dr. Ivan Florentino, a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at MCG Children’s Hospital. They have four children, their dog Leo, and enjoy playing golf when they can.
Jennifer McCarren
Physician Assistant
Jennifer McCarren, MPA, PA-C has been practicing as a Board Certified Physician Assistant in dermatology since receiving her Master’s degree from Duquesne University in 2001. She has extensive experience in both general and cosmetic dermatology, treating hair, skin and nail diseases of all ages and ethic groups. Jennifer is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and Georgia Dermatology of Physician Assistants. She has also published in the Journal of Dermatology of Physician Assistants.
Jennifer is passionate about giving back to the community. She has donated her hair to Lock of Love, as well as volunteers for the Society of Dermatology of Physician Assistants Public Relations Committee, American Academy of Dermatology Melanoma/Skin Cancer Screening Program, and Augusta Preparatory Day School.
Jennifer was raised and received her studies in western Pennsylvania. She relocated to the CSRA in 2009 and has decided to make Columbia County her home. Jennifer enjoys cooking and spending her time with her husband, son, daughter, and three Labrador retrievers.

Maureen E. Fitzgerald
Maureen graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio in 2006. She was the Practice Coordinator for the Medical Specialties Division at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio. Her most recent position was Business Manager for Home Health and Hospice Departments at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Maureen joined our team in April of 2013.
